My boyfriend and I popped last for the gin tasting and we got a snack platter. Both were absolutely incredible! We had a tour of the distillery and got to experience every step of the process. Kelly is an incredible host and is willing to answer any question you may have. We will definitely be back to make our own bottle of gin. Definitely a must try if you’re in Pretoria!

The experience was EXTREMELY enjoyable. In general it was great to be able to experiment with flavours, but also be able to understand the process and see the machines do their magic!

What a great experience at The Capital Distillery. This is how a gin tasting should be. A truly special and informative experience by extremely knowledgeable hosts. Amazing gins, crafted with care and love. Who knew Gin and chocolate went so well. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

We attended the gin tasting as a group, and had the Macaron pairing. The proprietors were great hosts, friendly and knowledgeable. The gins were delicious and it is great to taste them with some of the botanicals for reference. The distillery is neat and seems well run and quite boutique-sized, so you know they are putting a lot of love into each bottle they produce.

A great combination of cheese, biltong and biscuits to compliment the gin tasting.

Get involved, in Cape Town these experiences are easy to find and it’s such a nice day out. Having been to many wine pairings, whiskey, rum and gin tastings this really is up there with the best.

Other than amazing gin, the hosts are friendly, knowledgeable and just spectacular.

Please don’t be deterred by the location as it needs to be in an industrial area. The car is parked in a secure area, safely.

What a wonderful experience to do for team building. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly with plenty of laughs. Gin tasting paired with the chocolate Bon Bons and snack platter - Delicious. Kelly was an amazing host, the venue , the atmosphere , everything was just superb. We will be back!! 😁

We had a wonderful Valentine's celebration at the capital distillery. Our hosts were friendly and the service was spectacular, so much so that we were reluctant to leave!
Definitely a place I will visit again to enjoy a refreshing cocktail and some great company.

We wete treated like royaty and wined and dined llike kings. An absilute must do
