We came here for a birthday celebration and had a great time, learning about the gin-making process and playing with all the flavors. The space is bright and the mood relaxed. We enjoyed snacks and a few cocktails alone the way. Highly recommend.

This is my favourite gin of gins! No need for fancy flavoured tonics or decorations - the Alchemist has it all.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would do it again provided is done during the day on weekends.

My friend and I went for the gin tasting on a Saturday morning and it was such a lovely experience. Kelly and her team are very welcoming and knowledgeable. We learned a lot and had a fun time. We were also able to paint some glasses which was a thrilling creative experience, while sipping on some very yummy cocktails. I would definitely go back again.

The gin blending experience was amazing, the host (Kelly) was kind and friendly. Definitely booking again.

My boyfriend and I popped last for the gin tasting and we got a snack platter. Both were absolutely incredible! We had a tour of the distillery and got to experience every step of the process. Kelly is an incredible host and is willing to answer any question you may have. We will definitely be back to make our own bottle of gin. Definitely a must try if you’re in Pretoria!

The experience was EXTREMELY enjoyable. In general it was great to be able to experiment with flavours, but also be able to understand the process and see the machines do their magic!

What a great experience at The Capital Distillery. This is how a gin tasting should be. A truly special and informative experience by extremely knowledgeable hosts. Amazing gins, crafted with care and love. Who knew Gin and chocolate went so well. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

We attended the gin tasting as a group, and had the Macaron pairing. The proprietors were great hosts, friendly and knowledgeable. The gins were delicious and it is great to taste them with some of the botanicals for reference. The distillery is neat and seems well run and quite boutique-sized, so you know they are putting a lot of love into each bottle they produce.

A great combination of cheese, biltong and biscuits to compliment the gin tasting.
